installing kinetix test pipes
Does anyone have a link or information on how to install these test pipes? i want to try and do the install myself if it is not too difficult
There are some install tips on our website: http://www.gridesinc.com/Showroom.html#ExhaustUpgrade
Also there are some threads to be found here, by using the search function, with info that could help you.
Hardest part is probably removing the bolts that attach to the exhaust manifolds. Hope your O2 sensors come out easy, some guys have had problems with those, make sure you use the right sized wrenches/sockets and don't strip anything. Stubborn bolts use penetrating oil and make sure to disconnect you battery before starting your install.
Hope that helps.

There are several threads on installing test pipes or high flow cats. As Gary King mentioned, the oxygen sensors are, ummm...sensitive.
a. There is a unique socket for oxygen sensors. Remove them with the catalytic converters on the ground.
b. Recommend new stainless steel hardware with self-locking nuts
c. And Gary King again on penetrating spray. It is your friend.
