i finished it but no camera...ill use my sisters tommarow. It sounds INSANE! its definately recoomend the quieter version cuz its not that quiet! lol.
it fits perfectly, just requires some patience because of the slip style piping. However, w/ 2 people it slides right in! Uhm..i got the angled tips and it looks nice.
It rumbles like nothing, its the deepest exhaust i've ever heard on ANY car, exluding big bore v8s.

3.5' tips, uhm i hav't given it full gas yet, im gonna let it break in nicely. lol. It still hasn't done a full heat cycle to expand and contract...since its a slip exhaust, i think thats a bit more important. I felt more torque in the low and midrange where most 2.5' TD would loose some.

hey raj. ya actually have the 4" tip version. the tips are angled, but it is not nearly as much as most other angled tip muffler set ups.
talking with ya on the phone, we both agree that you get a slight resonance, but at around 3500rpm. which is out of cruise range. it does not sound like the turbos on my car made much of a difference on the sound too. told ya it was deep!!!!!! lol. the decel sound is my favorite personally.
glad to see ya finally get it and wasting no time at all on the install, lol. thanks raj.

Ok heres the sound clip. Its too ****ing muffled. I need a better camera. No wonder scott had problems getting a clip, ****s so DEEP and sounds so noice. Its a cross between a ferrari and 5.0 mustang i'd say. Oh, idle is SICK! haha

forgot the clip haha

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/6...ec9417baa0.htm

Ill get a drive by when my friend gets home.

It'll sound nicer if i do a clip coming toward the camera hpefully because of doppler effect. Going away, im not too sure. This exhaust is all deep until around 3500-400 RPM where it just sounds like a race car

Great. Thanks for posting that. Sounds very nice. I did get confused at the begining when you put the camera down, I thought those noises were the car, didn't sound like it was running very good.

Brother trust me, its a sound i still can't get out of my head haha. It shakes my chest.. however at WOT its not at all ricer ish at all. Sounds exactly like scotts clip which is far cleaner than mine. The turbo did not distort the exhaust at all..honestly its more bassy then loud.

OHH! and the biggest thing. NOOOO RASP! Im free from rasp from thsi exhaust. The X pipe is doing its thing. The guy who put it in for me (My neighbor john who i'd like to thank haah) is a mechanical engineer for Penske turkcs and he said that the X pipe is what makes power for V6's and V8s. He said something about it being a venturi tube (which it is) and it accelerates the exhaust velocity by 2-3X as much. Especially at higher RPMS

When you get a chance can you post pics of the tips from different angles? I'm torn between getting the tips that come off the aero mufflers and the ones that scott fabed for the 3" exhaust. But most of all MORE CLIPS!! lol

Uhm sure. the tips have about a 15 degree angle from the bumper of the car. I like teh angled look but the straight out would look nice too. I suggest the 4 inch tip, it fits the Z nicely.
