My Crawford cats just cracked and I'm thinking about just getting UTR test pipes.

HFC's are a better plan as test pipes stink, throw CEL and are going to fail sniffer test. All for what........ 1 horse over HFC?

HFC on 06 z (balance OEM exhaust) added 2db at idle and 8 db at 3,000 no load RPM. Test pipe is likely to be louder and change the sound more vs. OEM.

OEM << HFC << RTP << NRTP in terms of loudness and rasp, I do believe from my readings.
