Default Speed Force Racing Intake...

I'm considering buying the Speed Force Racing intake. Does anyone have any experience with it.

It's out now. The website is not accurate.

I've yet to see anyone that is actually running one, if it's really out.

Looks interesting. I would like to see the price and some HP numbers on the product.

It looks really cool, and I remember seeing this a while back in a thread while it was in development I do believe. The only thing that worries me is the way the throttle body is positioned straight down behind the radiator. Seems to me like you would have to have some crazy intake pipe bends to fit that setup, and I wonder if it would actually gain any power.

The thread kinda died a few months ago, but here it is in all its glory. I would love to hear from Tim that this thing has been tested and gains power.

FYI, while the stock intake manifold looks ugly, it achieves over 110% effiency at certain parts of the rev range. A lot of engineering went into the stock design. I highly doubt all these other companies engineering manifolds are putting them on flow benches, calculating laminar flow through out the rev range, etc. We've already seen the poor outcomes of the SSR manifold on NA VQ35s.

In one word...Crawford. Improvements can be made to the stock designs by aftermarket companies that do not have the engineering budgets of Nissan. I am just curious how this one will pan out.
