i got lucky and found a used borla TD for a good price and now im lookin for suggestions on which test pipes to get. Im looking for the exhaust to be loud and from what i hear, borla TD alone doesnt sound must louder then stock. Any suggestions? i dont know much about test pipes but from my search i see megan and OBX are crap

 

From what i heard you dont need resonated TP for the borla. Megan and OBX, T pros..they're all crap and will probably crack after prolonged use. Stick to APS, XERD, strup ect.

 

I've seen APS they look sweet.

 

how about kinetix or helix?

LaBree or Fast Intentions. No personal experience with the FI test pipes, but everyone says they're supposed to be great.

 

if you absoluately have to have resonated labree are from what ive read are the best. if not test pipes are test pipes as long as they last. with that in mind, strups would probably the cheapest test pipes i would trust. maybe top speed if your really on a budget. some people have had luck with obx, megan, tpros and other ebay specials but ive also read that many have had problems with those cracking.

 

They all suck, go HFCs unless fart cans turn you on.

I absolutely love my Megan Test Pipes on my Borla TD. 7 months strong. No problems. I personally would do it again in a second. Super Cheap $ wise, and does wonders for the sound of the exhaust. Just my .02

 

Get some Labree Resonated Test Pipes. You will not be dissapointed. Quality is top notch and they sound great!

eh i have the megan test pipes and they cracked but i have nismo exhaust and from what i read on the forums nismo exhaust tends to crack some test pipes....i previously had the kinetix resonated test pipes and sold them, thats something i really regret, those were awsome...if i had the money i would buy kinetix again

 

yo go with the HKS True Dual Exhaust. It is by far the best out there. Sounds rediculous. VERY Deep tone. Gonna cost you though. You pay for the best $1500

 

HKS is not $1500. Much lower now.

 

i got some used stillen test pipes for $120 so hopefully they go good with the Borla TD
