Default P.I.T. Intake Install...Impressions

So I got an insane deal on a brand new pit intake brand new from another member.

Got it today
first impression looked nice except noticed instanly the clamps were all supposed to be T-bolts and only 2 of 8 are.

Installation
lower intake pipe fits like ****
Puts the filter in the front driver fender in front of tire. The pipe is basically pinched between a wire harness (not happy bout this) and the front bumper. The intake pipe gets scratched to **** putting it in there as well.

Filter was insanely hard to put on which was half way my fault cuz I didnt want to take off fully every underpanel due to not wanting to risk breaking any clips. The filter also is hitting the front driver reflector on the inside and there seems to be no way to get it to sit right inside there.

Another thing is that for a cold air intake it has no bypass valve but I dont think in the spot its at it will get very wet if I hit a puddle of water.

When I finally got it done it sounded great not louder just whistles real nice under load. No CEL and no idle problems.

For the Price I cant complain at all I got it at an ebay intake price and it goes for 200 everywhere ive seen.

I think when im into a bit more cash ill swap it out for a JWT intake I think those are just much cleaner imo.
