I've been researching x pipes for awhile and have seen some people say the x pipe is not necessary on the borla TD because it is not in fact a true dual have an x type muffler. But i went ahead and took the z in today and had all the pipes welded and an x pipe put in to replace the h pipe
First impressions:
Pulling out of the shop i ran through the 1st 2 gears and i have got to say it felt stronger down low and seems to feel a little smoother. The sound is not changed significantly but does seem slightly deeper in low rpms. On several more lights on the way home i got to play around a little more and it definitely does feel like its got better response down low. No word on the high end yet as i havent gotten a chance to get on the highway yet but so far i'm very happy for what i got for 200 dollars
*Btw: i also have the kinetix hf cats if that makes any difference*
