yeah just get a silicone sealant. do you have all the longer bolts? you will need all of them i got the spacer and it took about 1 hour to put on. make sure the car is cold so you dont break any bolts. there are 2 coolnat lines you need to disconnect. they are on the back of the plenum, and the strut bar will only fit if you add 2 washers and adjust the bar to the outer most extent,

yeah cause they provide 2 gaskets. the skunk2 instructions advise you using sealant. what i did was use the stock gasket on the bottom and a sealant on the top. no problems at all.
and i have had if for about 17k.

Your plenum already has one gasket between the upper and lower. You need to get one more from the dealer, it's a big one shaped just like the plenum spacer but with a bunch of stuff in the middle, trim out the stuff in the middle so it looks just like your spacer and you are good to go (or use RTV goop).

You may want to trim the hood where it hits the plenum too.

I used High-temp red RTV silicone gasket maker on the top and bottom because of the imperfections of the spacer. You can find it at Autozone, Pepboys, etc.

Ok, get the rtv, get it installed, leave the strut bar off, and leave it sit overnight so the rtv can dry. Take it for a drive and check the hood and plenum for rubbing. Drill a hole and trim hood brace as necessary with some tin snips. Or I've seen people just leave it rubbing but I wouldn't do that.

you need everything from the SKUNK2 website. the longer bolts and the spacers and the washers.
