Agree. Strut brace tension is adjustable. Loosen locking nut. Turn other nut to increase-decrease tension. Look at space between upper plenum and brace: you can see the brace rise and fall. Tweak the brace so that it clears the hood and plenum. Tighten locking nut.

Check under the mounts of the strut tower brace - do you see washers installed there? They should have installed spacers (a couple washers per bolt) to give you the clearance you need. If they're not installed, go back to AAM and ask them to do it - they should not charge you for that.

Well I'm at a loss now. It looks like the bar is where it should be. Are there any marks on the underside of the hood?
Could be something else... when I installed my spacer, I was leaning over the engine and pressing against the side of my car. I didn't really notice it while I was doing it, but I actually pressed the headlight and quarter panel down a little. I just looked at my car and my hood looks just like yours, but my spacer is definately not pressing against the hood.
Bottom line, take the car back to AAM. Sorry I couldn't help more!

plenum spacer on a reveup without mrev+ , i dont think you gained any thing , this spacer works with nonrevup better than revup , cause the revup engine plenum stay a little closer to the strut bar , i had this spacer on my o4 and it clears the bar nicely, looks like u have to lose your strutbar man

if your hood pops out too then i guess its normal, but i will make a call tomorrow and make sure whats going on
