Im looking into getting the mrev2 and 5/16 spacer combo for an 06 z. How difficult is it to install. Im no tech, but Im capable. Ive got plenty of tools at my disposal. Id like to do it myself but I dont want to bite off more than I can handle.

 

its not that bad at all, just don't overtighten the bolts you need a inch/lb torque wrench

yup. it should've come in the box with the items and you can also find it on motordyne's website.

 

Just have a friend there to help hold up the heavy plenum while you are attaching/detaching tubes etc. If you have a friend + tools, you should be good to go. Pretty straightforward stuff. Take your time

 

yep, its not too bad at all, however the plenum bolts snapping is a common problem as mentioned above (hence the small torque wrench), and adjusting the strut tower bar to clear the hood and the plenum is all trial and error. good luck, youll like the results!

 

Here’s a hint concerning the upper plenum. Tie a cord around the plenum. Tie the plenum to the underside of the hood. That will keep it out of the way.
