Will the Cusco and/or the Greddy strut bar fit with the 5/16 spacer installed? ?

 

The OEM strut brace does not fit over the 5/16-inch motordyne spacer. The Cusco and GReddy brace go over the plenum also. I assume that they will not fit.


What will fit is a design such as the Stillen. The Stillen fits in front of the plenum, not over the top.

 

no, the stock as well as the greddy and the cusco fit over the 5/16 md spacer. i have the spacer and i ran my stock bar for awhile then i switched to the cusco. you just need a few washers.

 

i have the plenum spacer installed now, so it does fit the stock strut bar..

 

spacers come with washers for this reason

 

yes, you just need washers to spacer the strut bar up a bit. where in sofla are you located, i can show you mine and help you out if you need it.

 

Will the Cusco fit with a Seibon TS hood though? I've been seeing mixed opinions in my searching.

 

my cusco fit without the washers and i have to 5/16 spacer also. i took the washers off cause the strut bar was hitting the hood

I run the Cusco with the TS, fits fine

 

How bout the JIC, does that one fit without any clearance issues with that hood and spacer as well? Like i said, i've come up with mixed answers in my searching.

 

i currently have the 5/16 plenum spacer with the greddy strut bar installed on top of it along with the spacers that the plenum spacer came with. no rattling, no issues. i'm content.
