With my bolt on setup on my 06 I made272 whp and 261 tq, uncorrected.. So figure 260whp and 250tq with a correction, WITHOUT a tune.. Just the MREV, testpipes, pop charger, and exhaust.
I read if you have the 06 with the automatic with the 287Hp the lower intake is already like the MREV lower plenum, so you just need the spacer....is this true?

The popcharger will make your car cut off over 80-82 mph IN NEUTRAL. It almost killed me on a windy road and i tested it out after to determine what speed it cuts out. Since the engine isn't actively sucking in air out of gear, there is not enough being sucked through the filter at higher speeds because of the airflow. Leave it in gear or blip the throttle once if you go to the drag strip coasting down from 100ish

I inquired about the same thing and Tony from Motordyne verified that, so I just installed the 5/16" spacer. Make sure you order the spacer with the ISO thermal kit.

the 287 collector = mrev, Motordyne currently sells the MREV 2 which is modified for better airflow.

OTOH

With the REVUP engine, it makes much more gains, and both the spacer and MREV2 are recommended to be used together.

On the REVUP, the MREV2 makes TQ and the spacer makes highend HP. Both together give very good results.

I read that the '03-05 models with 287 HP actually make 230-245 HP at the wheels (WHP)....Guessing that the 300 HP models average from 250-255 HP at the wheels??

So one of the downsides of the pop charger is an annoying whistle at 5k rpm and above?

Well to me it is a downside, while other people may enjoy it. And the whistle happens (at least on my car) between ~3k and ~5k RPM. Once you hit 5k the whistle either goes away, or it is masked by the tremendous growling sound.

The whistling is only at a certain percentage of throttle input as well. Usually for me, it only happens if I'm holding the throttle at about 25-33% from the stated 3k-5k RPM or so.
