Shouldn't should be out scrubbing the grease off your windows or something???
When you're done with that, you can go back to wishing you had a bigger *****.....
BTW.....in a straight line, you are 100% correct......you will toast me.....assuming you know how to drive

I will end with some friendly advice:
Never trust anything that bleeds for five days and doesn't die.

Just a few thoughts:
First:
To help the RX-8 dude...I believe it is spelled rotAry (A as in a rotary engine, not O as in brake rotor). As a friendly lil' girl, I am just offering a Pennsylvanian a spelling correction. I had an RX-7 (R1 version ;-) )..then a 'modded' C-5 (thats a 'Vette to all those not following the alpha-numeric designations *giggle*)..and now a new 350Z. I love(d) them all for their strong points and value to excite *blushing*. Hmmm..but then what do a bunch of guys think of an 'innocent' girls opinion (LOL).
Second:
Please help me understand what I thought I saw. I was under the impression that the Injen 'long tube' filter would be located near the front 'grill', not the wheel well (as in the 'blue' AEM photos). While my Breathless intake on my Vette had others worried about "hydro-lock" it was fully protected from all but driving under water ;-) If an air filter is located anywhere near a rotating wheel, won't everything (water, mud, etc..) at a minimum, clog said filter? Not to mention car wash spraying of the 'well crusties'!
I welcome intelligent opinions. Please no bashing..it ruins the moment ;-)

Christ.....i'm getting an rx-8 and can't even spell rotary correctly!!!! LOL
N Rage,
The AEM and Injen ARE installed at different locations. You are correct in your understanding. The pic of the AEM is with the wheel well shroud removed. The AEM filter is pretty well protected from the elements when all is in place. Even more so than the Injen in my opinion.
From one Pennsylvanian to another, thanks for the spelling correction. I've been using that ID for while now and you are the first to mention it to me. I helped aceman install the one in the pics. Wasn't to difficult and it sounds FANTASTIC!!! I think aceman has a video on his web site of some drive bys. If you are planning on getting one....AEM gets my vote.

N rage, there needs to be more girls like you.
i almost got an R1 Rx7, im just saving to have it in addition now.
on my car at least the injen filter doesnt go through to the same place, it stays in the engine bay. i figure the Z shouldnt be much different.

Now here's a dumb question that you should love me for... WTF does the AEM and Injen do? And why should I want to get one? Also, when you say "beautiful noise"... what does that mean? Does it mean that people will look at me when I'm driving and wonder, what's wrong with his engine, it's sooo loud???

Get real bro.
Enough to know you've got crap for low end torque and you don't have any advantages until your spooled up in the 7000+ powerband... by that time I'm 3 cars ahead my friend.. lol
I'm done with this feeble minded crap.. join an rx-8 site..
