as soon as I saw that price I knew it was crush bent. You paid that because you have no idea what to get in an exhaust.

Crush bent exhaust SUCKS. They crush the piping in order to bend it, so for each turn the diameter decreases and SERIOUSLY screws with the exhaust flow. If you're boosted, yank that piece of shat off right now and spend the money you should have to begin with on something mandrel bent

if you're n/a, still yank that POS off and get a decent exhaust. Even 3" single is better than 2.5" dual crush bent.

you may be able to go fast with crush bends but you're putting unnecessary stress on the turbo and motor simply because you want to save a few bucks. Besides, a mandrel bent system will ALWAYS sound better than crush bent.

A freer flowing exhaust is better for the turbo and the engine, this is fact.

And again it goes back to "you gotta pay to play", so if you can't afford a decent exhaust for your FI Z, how could you afford the FI to begin with? Or what happens if your motor blows? You got enough to cover that?

and again, a single 3" mandrel bent will flow leaps and bounds better than any dual 2.5" crush bent.

Chimmike - You make a good point, but some people might not have access to a mandrel bend machine, like ME. I'm actually trying to get a new exhaust put on this week, and no one within 100 miles of me has one!

that's the thing, very few have mandrel benders, which is why I suggest simply getting one of the dozens of exhaust systems already available!

the crush bend isnt really a problem, the pipe still has the same diameter reguardless of what shape its in.

Im no exhaust expert, but as a structural engineer, i can tell you the diameter DOES decrease if the pipe is bent
