Default Topspeed Pro1

Hey guys. I decided I want to buy a topspeed pro1 exhaust. I love the sound, the loudness etc.

If my memmory serves me well there was a seller on ebay that sold this exhaust for very very cheap. I was wondering if anyone knows this persons's name or if he plans on selling any more.

Also I see that the Nvidia has the same design type as the pro1. I found an invidia on ebay for 450 + 75 shipping. Would this exhaust sound the same as the Pro1? Is the quality a little better than the pro1?

Thanks guys. And please dont tell me to look at something better like HKS or buy used. I like this one... remember to each his own =P

Not to be a d!ck but there are TONS of pro1 threads. You could have pm'ed other members on the board who have bought this exhaust from ebay.

But to contribute to the thread, I am looking to sell my pro-1. PM me with a reasonable offer if interested.

What's your experience with the Top Speed exhaust? Is it too loud? Did you lose any torque with the 3" pipe? How much are you selling it for?

That has all been discussed in thread after thread after thread. Experience - so/so. Loud? Fck yeah it's loud. Torque loss? Yes a noticable amount.

Yeah, I know that BUT I specifically asked what you think about it. Good luck selling your exhaust.

My specific experience with the exhaust leaves me torn. I believe there's not a better sounding exhaust out there for the Z, when it is installed with stock cats. With test pipes, that's a different story. The exhaust sounds amazing when you outside of the car. The exhaust sounds amazing when you are in the car with the windows down, and wanting it to be loud. The exhaust could not be anymore annoying when the windows are up and you don't want the noise. If I had the money/time/desire I would simply deaden the entire hatch area to eliminate the cabin drone. When I say cabin drone, I don't mean a noticable low constant noise. I mean a deep rumble that shakes the car, vibrates all of the interior peices, and give you a headache after a 2 hour road trip. I've stepped out of the car after a 3 hour drive and I could noticably hear less for a few minutes. That's a scary feeling . The exhaust does include silencers, but I HATE the way it sounds with them in. The cabin drone is almost gone, but outside the car, it sounds like a "terd." If you are still wanting this exhaust, I would suggest investing in some Dynamat for the hatch area.
