Hi. I have been doing searches for the answer to my question but can not seem to find it. What is the filter that comes with the Nismo CAI kit? Also, where might I purchase this filter? Thanks

 

i bought a K&N replacement on ebay, just make sure its authentic k&n and not k&n STyle, also make sure its the right size, like pipe conection diameter, length and filter diameter... i don't remember, lemme check my ebay history... well the listing isn't available anymore but u need a 3" connection, ill post part# tomorrow if u want

i didn't look for the exact one cause i wanted the aluminum top one filter element on top too like this one but its not the right size:

You can buy that exact same filter for $19 at PepBoys... I know because I bought one 2yrs ago They have vairying sizes 3-4"...

Measure the outer diameter of the tube. Check froogle for filter air auto. Order the proper type and size.

Be sure to measure the tube. I'm almost positive the Nismo intake uses a 2.75" filter. You can buy an AEM dry flow filter from any of the shops that are big sellers fo their intakes. I think they go for about $45.
