No not me. Them babies went back in. I might sound like an old man (im actually 26) but that is loud. The BASS they produce while driving, give me a headache. It starts rattling stuff inside my car.

I do like the sound of the exhaust w/o silencers at stop lights and just idling but not while applying gas pedal.

Dont get me wrong. I am glad I bought RS R.

Thanks

Did you measure the opening of the silencers?

Single sweetest sounding exhaust period with the turbonetics kit, bar none!!! I too am selling mine because of my TT upgrade. For sale pretty cheap if interested. I can email sound clips for those contemplating purchase. My pms are almost full due to all the stuff I have for sale in the classifieds, lol.

Dont get me wrong. I am glad I bought RS R. It makes it easier to inspect under the car. and someday drain and fill the transmission, and are lite in weight.

Thanks
i think thats only because you are daily driving your car...
if you drive the car only on the weekends you'd think otherwise...

Hey guys... i have a question.
I just installed the RSR ... and i love them.
i took the silensers out cause i hate the look of them but they are extremely loud for me...
So , my question is :
Is there a way to do something to make the exhaust more silent (like having the silencers) but without having the silencers installed?

IF not if i put the silencers on again and cut this center tip piece will it make a difference? (in sound)

here is a not so good quality pic of the new look (i love it!)

Not really, since the RSR is a single pipe to dual outlets, there is virtually nothing that can be done to muffle the sound.

Looks very nice especially without the silencers.

Just drive around and hope you don't get an exhaust ticket. If you do, it's most likely not a big deal, just a fix-it ticket.

Okay I have had the RSR since October 2006. Removed the silencers 1 month ago and I am now used to the sound. And its not so bad to my ears anymore. I love going through tunnels.

Anyway My Question is

WHy cant you use this exhaust for Turbo applications?

Default silencers

Here's some shots of the silencers, also took a shot beside it.
Not to make it sound stupid but there's a nut and bolt, did u unscrew that?
that's weird if after a month it won't budge.
