Default prob with test pipe

i have a helix exhaust system and i just recently installed tps for my z about two weeks ago. they were brand new when i bought them. the problem is that it was blowing out alot of smoke which i thought was normal for the first couple of days after install, but until now its still blowin out alot especially when i rev over 3 gran looks like a cloud of smoke comin out from the rear. i was hoping if anybody could let me know what could be causing the prob. i really luv the sound its making now but i might have to put back my stock cats if anything.

What color smoke?

White smoke is normal for ... a while.

Black smoke, running rich

Blue smoke, burning oil...

Install test pipes do not make the motor smoke. The motor is OK. You removed the catalytic converters. You are going to see smoke.

If you see blue smoke, check your engine oil. If you are always running low, you might have a oil burning situation.

I have had tp's for 6 months now and I only see black smoke when I run my car hard at high rpm's only because it runs rich. Other than that, you should not see any smoke unless outside temps are cold and your vehicle is warm.
