Will Jwt Popcharger And Borla Exhaust Hurt My Reliability At All?
I'm planning on getting a jwt popcharger and a borla exhaust sometime between now and christmas. those will be my first and possibly my last mods. Will these hurt my reliability or the longevity of the car at all? Are either of these known to cause problems?

if your already worried about if your car is going to die on you because you put an intake and exhaust on then you will already look for problems after you have it installed. no car is safe from gremlins. just have it done right by a pro or someone who knows what they are doing.

i really wish people would stop making comments about searches. I do a search every time before i post a thread and the search function on this site sucks. I searched for slick 50 oil treatment and all it came up with is info on drag slicks.

there was a time when i thought mods would hurt the car (the last 3.5 years).
so recentley i decided to mod, it was just an intake any way.
here is my story....
when i first installed my intake, my rpms would throb like crazy at 5000 rpms and throw a CEL, i put stock intake back on no throbbing. I was sure it was my intake causing the problem. But NO, i got my CEL pulled it was the crank position sensor. Got the dealer to replace it, now my car with the injen CAI in short ram form runs very smooth.
and yes, the mod was definitely worth it.
for exhaust, i am definietly thinking of fast intentions intimidator. i ordered 5/16" spacer last week and can't wait to install it this weekend.
just look at the parts and you will be surprised at the quality difference in stock vs aftermarket.

FYI...any mod you do will have some impact on the life/reliability of your car, but chances are for small ones like exhaust/intake, you will never know the difference.
