[QUOTE=Nismo 350z]Yes but the DC have better collectors. QUOTE]

Try again, they are exactly the same.

Go on ebay and spend 100 dollars on megan headers, they are the same as DC sport and others.

More info please JDMZ-33. I've been waiting for you to do a write-up or review of the Tomei headers. Been personally thinking about getting them. Help a brother out!

Take care

My opinion here is base on what my set up right now, at the moment I have Tomei Headers and Crawford cats + stock exhaust. I'm still waiting for my fujitsubo Y pipe + Amuse R1 titan.
I can really felt the difference straight away after 7 hours installation the engine sound and perform differently even with stock exhaust. It did sound like you aftermarket exhaust..not loud but you can tell the difference from stock exhaust.
Price wise its cheaper than Fujitsubo and Nismo headers. I think its a worth modification to go if you are going to play NA

cheers,
Jerry

looking at this:
https://my350z.com/forum/attachment....3&d=1150769414

are you saying that megan headers are better than strup and alphawerks?

Anotyher question for everybody.. out of all which are equal length... i know DC and crawford are... which else?...
do they all have the same size collector, which is bigger?

For the best overall header, which includes price, performance, install cost, I would go with either strup, DC, nismo, tomei, or stillen. Top speed and megan racing are junk, and crawford is the best performing but the most expensive and hardest to install.

Most headers are NISMO knockoffs, which is not a bad thing in itself. If you want to pay $$$s and buy named brand headers, go for it but don't expect to see a huge difference in performance between what you bought and other more inexpensive brands. Paying $$$s does not always equate to high quality & great performance. Top Speed & Megan Racing headers are just as good as "most" other brands.

Remember -- just because one individual had a problem with one brand does not mean all their products are defective.

I respectfully disagree. As in most things, You Get What You Pay For. The only headers with true collectors are Crawford, Nismo, and BRM. The most expensive. But, IMO, the only ones worth considering. Of course, as you all know, I am very fond of my Crawfords, IMHO they rock.

So if I buy the NISMO headers at Performance Nissan for $1,335, am I buying the best headers?

ill semy agree in the fact that...while the design might be the same...the quality fo build isn't...but after a certain point you are just paying for the name man....

you are being kinda bias becuase you ovbiously shelled a grand for your crawfords, which are def the best but still overpriced a bit, even if they are special design, hand made to order etc etc...

So crawford are the ONLY equal length headders???

DO you care to elaborate on this statement or do you just like to blurt out opinions without stating facts?

I have DC Sports, which i installed myself. But what i dont think i have seen is, the difference in performance from DC to Crawford. I know Crawford does make more HP i just dont know what the Difference is in power.

I am happy with mine, took 5 hours to install on Jack Stands. I believe crawfords require more time for the install.

Later
Todd
