Default Intake Whistle...

I have a K&N typhoon intake on my 04 touring. I noticed a whistle noise upon hitting the accellerator, anyone else having this problem? almost sounds like a BOV, but its upon accel. Think it could be a vacuum leak on the intake, or a coupler leak somewhere? Any thoughts?

if you don't have rough idle there shoudl be no leak. the whistle sound is normal. i think it has to do with the open filter. the stock actually did it a little, but it was not as pronounced.

rough idle is like your car about to stall, then it comes back up for a while. small movements in the needle is normal. and intake shouldnt cause any leaks if everythign is tight.

the whistling is normal, its the cone filter taking in more air and being exposed instead of shielding like the stock box

definitely normal with intake install, the sound was there before but you couldn't hear it before because the stock airbox is sound-insulating
