Default Buddy Club Pro Spec III & JWT Popcharger Fitted- My thoughts

just fitted my buddy club pro spec cat-back today, also fitted the JWT popcharger.

first impressions:the exhaust is LOUD. not the screaming high pitched loud but the VERY LOW DEEEEEP RUMBLE. It's definitely not above 90dB so I'm not too worried about the cops, who are having a major crackdown on loud exhausts in my area.

it's just that the sound is so deep that you can feel it resonating in the cabin...after a while i had to roll down my windows cos i couldn't take the droning esp. at 3k rpm anymore- i figured that the 'cockpit' acts similar to a subwoofer, reverberating the sound(did an experiment where a friend took a spin in it whilst i observed, it was alot quieter than i presumed it would be).

I understand that this may be pure music for some people, just a lil bit much for the girlfriend and myself.

i love the exhaust note at idle when you first start up the car, sounds VERY similar to the fujitsubo legalis exhaust sound clips i've heard/seen....but to keep at speeds of 80km/h will be a bit tiresome. I think it resonates close to the perfect note and timbre I'm after..but again, i wouldn't mind it another 10dB softer.

Performance wise: i can few small gains on my butt dyno but that's about it. Many people often post (on forums) that it seems like they are going much faster cos of the sound but aren't...in my case, i feel the complete opposite. I feel a bit sluggish (loss on low end torque maybe?) but when i look at the speedo, i'm actually travelling faster than what i thought i was going! anyone have the same experience?

i'm thinking of doing some sound deadening but i don't know whether it's effective or how i'd get around doing it.

Finally my thoughts on the pop charger: seems alright, had to machine a few bits to make it sit perfectly...but it turned out great. The exhaust has certainly drowned out the much publicized 'whistling' noise..So i'm not in the position to comment on it yet.

Sorry for the lengthy post, been a long day and it's the first time doing all the mods myself!
