Default To DIY or not to DIY... MREV2

Got my MREV2 and spacer today! Wooot!

Don't be yelling search just yet.... read first..

Has anyone seen any before-and-after dynos with this being the only mod on an 06 rev-up engine? I saw lots of dynos on the board, but none with exactly this change from stock on an 06 rev-up, with NO OTHER MODS. Mine's a Grand Touring. not sure if all rev-ups use the same lower collector.

I am trying to decide if it'd be worth it to get a before-and-after, same-day dyno with this installed by the shop. If there is such a Dyno, I won't bother. Otherwise, I think it'd be interesting. Nothing I can't handle on my own, mind you...

I have searched the boards here and the Motordyne site for this, but no luck...

Oh, and I took a silly number of high-res photos if anyone's interested in any certain angles

Thanks...

I've seen some dynos of bone stock 06 with these mods.

Believe me it makes a lot of power in the midrange, and shifts the peak power a little towards the lower RPMs. You will feel it guaranteed. If you don't like it, you can get your money back from Tony @ Motordyne.

There are independant dynos on here for sure, I just cant recall exactly where. Even some revup dynos showing the difference between MREV+ Vs MREV2.

I just intalled this combo and I dont really feel it. It just might be that i have a bad sense and cannot feel the power difference. I did notice a little more power in 2nd gear. Is it possible that i installed it incorrectly?

Yes, it is possible. Or you may just have a bad sense.

The guy who dynod installed this on his car made ~ 20HP and 30 TQ and couldn't feel it when he drove home. After a weeks worth of driving he noticed the differences.
What is "felt" while driving can be totally subjective and varies from driver to driver.
