K&N and Jim Wolf Pop Charger for improved air flow
I'm a proud owner of a new Chrome silver 350Z Touring. I just purchased the K&N high flow air filter and the Jim Wolf air Pop charger on the Courtesyparts.com website. I guess I need some advice for installing these new parts. I've always relied on dealerships to work under the hood of my previous cars. Would the installation of these parts take some expertise or can a newbie simply follow the directions? Will the dealership install these parts for me?
Also, can you tell a difference in the performance? If so, how many horsepower would be added?
I was a little sad today to find a scratch on my new Z (lower left hand part of the fender). It's hard to keep a car in mint condition during a Boston winter. :-( Hopefully the touch up paint will help.
Thanks for your help.

???? You got the K&N filter AND the pop charger???
You can only install one of them. The K&N filter is just a drop in to replace the stock filter.
The Pop Charger replaces the filter AND the housing.
The Pop Charger comes with instructions, its not that hard to install if you got the right tools and a nice lit area to work in.
Should take you not more than 1/2 hr to take out the Stock filter and install the Pop Charger.
Important TIP: Make sure the Air Sensor is pluged back in and secure BEFORE you start the car.
Many people complain of stalling after installation due to this (or other errors) I've never had the car stall.
HP you probly won't notice it, suppose to add like 4-5. But you will notice a more agressive sound.

Thanks for your reply. I realized after looking at several pictures that I wouldn't need both. I guess I'll stick with the Pop charger and try to install it once it arrives. I also saw the Air intake assembly sold by Injen. If you had the choice between the Pop charger and Injen, which one would you take?
