I really...really don't want to know the cost...

the worst part is, I doubt whoever buys it will even bother with a before and after dyno

I usually wait to buy anything, before I see a dyno. Im not spending my money on something thats not proven. But I am excited about another plenum on the market. I also suggest all you people keep your excitement on the DL. Cause If they see that theyll be charging more

I am pretty sure this is made to work with thier heads/cam package.

and cosworth has all the facilities to flow test, fluid dynamically test, etc. all the different parts they make, I doubt thier parts would be non-functional... they aren't kinetix after all

Hefty estimate don't you think? I'm calling around $950-$1150 depending on if there's a non cf end tank vesrion.

So in a way its a copy of the new 350z manifold minus a throttle body and maf.

Looks good though. And i believe the strut bar will fit with this design.

Hmmm Price

If the Kinetix SSV was what $800 new, this one will be over $1500 im sure. Cosworth makes stuff that works and is thought out.

I guess we will see

later

I can't wait to see this installed on a road going Z/G, the intake sound should change some as well, not that it really matters.... Blast my SC !!! hehe

will the intake piping be available seperately down the line? or will it only be available in the kit?

that plenum looks hot

that filter location - just under the bonnet latch - is where APS put the filter on their proto N.A. intake

the intake path is alot longer than stock, so that would increase torque down low but decrease top end power - which the new plenum will probably rectify anyway

either way, that should be a sweet combo

it won't be. You can bet it's a well-engineered product.

So your saying that all aftermarket plenums we currently have are not well engineered? If so what makes you say that?

Kinetix SSV. Sometimes LOSES power over a stock plenum under forced induction (actually most of the time does). The SFR coffin plenum hasn't been shown to make incredible gains of any sort either.

So how is any other plenum on the market so great? That's why mods like the MREV and spacers sell so well, they produce much better than those much more expensive units. Just wait until we see some dyno numbers from this one.

I agree here, but for a different reason. All the companies that make anything aftermarket for the Z such as kinetix or others as mentioned above, they do not have the backing to go through full r and D. They do the best they can i'm sure, but crawford has decades of experience that these other companies usually do not have. That is a deal breaker for me, and for many others. And those years of experience are what you pay for in regards to these much higher researched and more well developed products. Nothing agianst any of the other companies out there, but crawford doesn't mess around, their engineers have been doing this for way too long hehe..
