Well I asked them for some more info, but looks like they are still keeping it a secret for a while longer. See response below:

Vince,
We are not yet ready to release exact details on the Nissan manifold yet.
We will add your email address to the list and send you updated info as we release it.

Thanks.

So I talked with someone today at PRI at the cosworth booth, he was very helpful and knew the VQ forward and back, he informed me that cosworth has a variety of different parts coming out for the VQ market ranging from crate motors, to cams, to heads, and many other things including the intake manifold, they said the manifold that they have is still in final development and they are getting to tooling to build them setup now, it will be available in spring 07, they would not talk about final HP #'s but he said the price will be under $1500 with the carbon fiber end caps, he said he would predict it to be well under the $1500 mark, he also mentioned that it may be available with aluminum end caps for boost applications, I'll see what else I can find out about it tommorow

From who I talked to that attended the show the Cosworth people were the least friendly. They did say it was coming out first quarter of next year.

Isn't that August? Fiscal 1/4, or calendar year first 1/4 - meaning January-March?

Fiscal can start in whatever quarter a business wants to establish the start of their fiscal year, and is independantly established by all businesses. Since they were talking to a consumer and setting expectations to an anticipated delivery timeframe, I would bet they were talking January, lol. I don't think they would expect him to know their accounting calander.

I'm glad you took that well, dude. I'm curious as hell on this thing too. I really want to see how it does on rev-up, like can I keep or beat the tq I picked up from the MD package but still make some decent hp gains along the way?

Is this the same Cosworth that races F1?

Design looks good.
How the heck did they cast that shape?! It looks like the thing is one solid piece, no upper or lower plenum. No screws holding things together.

This is the same company that built all of those winning INDY 500 engines (turbocharged V8 Ford) over the years. Very successful in F1, too. Their Indy engines were always known to be bullet proof.
