Default Sound Clips of Stillen TD With JWT Popcharger and MD 5/16 Spacer

hey guys just got my Stillen TD exhaust installed a few days ago and wanted to post some sound clips up. These aren't the best in the world as they were done with a cheap microphone on my laptop but I just wanted to get one out there cuz i could only find one other one when i was looking for them. Let me know if this link works also cuz i was having some issues with it.

no prob did the clip work?

Also It didn't really capture the rumble as well as I would have like it to. It actually sounds a little deeper than that.

Sorry but I did not try it. I have a Mac and generally videos and sound clips do not work for me.

Props for putting up a sound clip...

sounds pretty good

Since it will sound quite a bit different when you're actually driving around (under load), and not just revving it, it would be cool if you could get a sound clip while driving

Im just wondering. Mine pops a chit load, but i have straight pipes. I think the X pipe makes it pop more (i have an x pipe too). When mine pops, it vibrates my chest haha

popping is due to unburned hydrocarbons in the exhaust exploding... normally they are burned off in the cats, if you don't have cats then it can just pop...

That can't be true. Theres not enough oxygen in the exhaust pipes. Even if this was so, CO is a MUCH stronger oxidizer than O2, so it would never happen in the presence of a large amount of CO.

I think we might be talking about different things when I say popping.

Nevertheless, CO / carbon monoxide is not an oxidizing agent (far from it: it is a reducing agent). It does NOT want to give up its oxygen atom easily considering the C-O bond is "nature's strongest bond"

that's because CO forms very strong ligands with metals.

This is actually inorganic chem stuff... but also related to bio

Why do you hate me? Are you one of the people that constantly tells me to search after I've stated that I've searched?
