I used to have Nismo exhaust with test pipes. The thing was LOUD.
It wasn't too raspy cuz I had resonated TP, but that thing rattled like a ****.

I have test pipes with my Nismo Exhaust. It is raspy at low rpms but when you get on it, it is just loud.

anyone with high flow cats and nismo exhaust? I want louder than I already have, but not loud enough to annoy people. I'm also going with headers at the same time. Which is better for the Nismo, High-Flow Cats, or Resonated Pipes? I HATE rasp btw.

I think Nismo/HFC would be a great combination. No rasp and extra breathing. You just won't get the same gains as a TP.

As far as I've heard, it definitely makes it louder, but in a good way. Not like putting a straight-through exhaust on a Civic D16.

I have not heard either combo in person, but I have a few sound clips I think of Nismo and TP, maybe one of Nismo + HFC. But these are hardly benchmarks by which to make decisions.
