Ok..I just have a question about the HKS exhuasts, i believe there are 2 HKS true dual exhuasts in the market for Z ... I have the one from Japan(shown in the pic) ....just wondering whats the difference b/w the one i have and the HI power Ti most of you guys got .... Are they really that different ??or just the jdm one is rare thats it....

 

I could search for HKS photos and post them here, but you can do the same.

 

US version got twin canister system, so it looks like 4 seperate muffler..which is unique....that's why many people go for this exhaust. Performance wise...probably the same but i'm not sure

its looks to me that the jpn version looks a lot like the nismo/stock/nivdia/borla, the two exhaust mufflers are weilded together, unlike the HKS which from the dual y pipe out to indivdual piping, then into indivual exhaust mufflers

I do have this jdm hks, just thinking if i should trade it for a US HKS hi power cuz i like the look of US HKS better ...but i dont know about whats the defference for these 2 exhuasts on performence side.....seems the jdm brought me some power but not sure which will do better since i never had the US hks ...anyways thx for helpin guys...

What does it have to do with searching? If you searched, you would've found out that they are TOTALLY DIFFERENT DESIGNS for one.

 

No, he's saying that if you do a search, you'll find photos of the US HKS exhaust, at which point you would be able to visually compare the difference between your JDM version and the U.S. version.
