so i have my exhaust on the way and yes i did a search ! has anyone notice a difference in power or lose of tork thanx
I have it on my REVUP motor and it added a lot of torque the car has lost with that engine. It gained some top end but the difference in torque and throttle response is very good.
Also, another thing to remember is, if you have test pipes you will have a annoying sound come from the greddy x-pipe. This is caused by the x-pipe entrance being too sharp of a angle. I had my local muffler shop create a h-pipe and it fixed the problem.
i have the 06 also!!! so it does add torque versus taking it away . what a relief! also what test pipes are u talking about?? and how do u like the sound ?? i had a greddy on my is300 and it sounded pretty good!!!
I can't say if it added power or not because i installed a Crawford upper plenum and a popcharger at the same time. But it definitly added some noise! Here's some pix of mine.
If you really care about sound, you'll leave off the test pipes. My greddy sounded great, then I installed some headers and test pipes.....man I feel like I'm driving a civic now....the sound is horrible.

Change the x-pipe into a h-pipe. The sound changes when you install test pipes on the evo2 exhaust and it is caused by the greddy x-pipe, the bend is way too sharp and creates a nasty sound.
