I just started trying to remove my stock exhaust, is there a write up for the best way to do this? I've looked and found nothing and surely someone has posted this somewhere. Can anybody help?
Fairly easy -- three hangers where the muffler is and one hanger on the mid-pipe. Two bolts where the flanges are between the mid-pipe & muffler and two more where the y-pipe & mid-pipe connect.
whats that contraption called, and how much does it go for? I could wait til around 5 o clock to have an extra hand but i want to do this now!
This is a Pipe Hanger Tool. Exhaust plier works on all exhaust systems that use the rubber hanger supports. Simply squeeze the plier handles to force the bracket from the rubber support. About $18.
