Very interested, since I personally have the real HKS...
One thing tho, the sound on that knock-off is aweful

Actually I thought their sound clip posted on ebay sounded better than the real deal HKS. I'm not a fan of the HKS tinny/raspy tone.

why because it doesn't have the HKS badge on it . I swear some of you guys have your heads so far up these "major name" companies ***** its not even funny. Hate to break it to you buddy but an exhaust is not that prone to failure and is not subjected to extreme amounts of stress. Generally speaking SS is SS. It all starts out as pig iron.

I am pretty much over the whole "it has to be name brand" mindsett. On my old car which was boosted i spent around 10,000 in engine related performance parts from all the big boys and i can't tell you how many times i have questioned why i paid so much for what looked like a inferior product.

He is the first brave soul to buy a knock off exhaust from this company NO ONE has ever heard of. He doesn't know this guy/company from adam or what his rep is. He is questioning the quality of the exhaust. What's a matter? I can't wish the guy a little bit of luck.

If he had bought this knock off from someone he personally knew that does good work then that's a different story.

I'll give him that he has some major *****. I would never plunge my money on ANY product that others have not had on their cars especially from a company that claims 20-30 HP from an exhaust

I'm not trying to start another knockoff vs authentic parts thread, just saying research your products before buying may save you money.

Actually i am the Original Poster

Sorry i thought you were saying it in a negative way. I understand what you are saying. IMO sometimes you have to take risk like this to help save you money. If i just blindly bought all of the name brand products based souly on their name i would be broke as a ****. But i do agree it is a risk in that it could have fittment issues, but not in the fact that it will just fall apart while driving down the road. Like I said i hope this turns out to be decent like the topspeed products.

BTW pretty much every company makes eroneous claims on power gains

LOL, Never seen a company claim 20-30 on an exhaust. That's a bit excessive. Anyways good luck on it. I just bought a knockoff VS V1 Lip from Evo-R. I've seen his other work so I'm pretty confident this lip won't be any different.

Just report back with your honest opinion on fitment and everything.

And some pics installed would be nice.

Tpro is a replica of RSR. There are more topspeed than RSR cuz its cheaper and don't break.

X02 racing has been around for awhile actually. They are another company of SS Autochrome but X02 is thier "high end" product. SS autochrome used to be horrid but they have been getting alot better in what they sell.

aaaa ****. I have read some horrible stories about SS autochrome. I will take a risk with a catback, but not their turbo manifolds or boost related items

The one i purchased is actually from etdmotors. Not sure, but it is probably the same product for both companies.
