The most popular short ram intake SYSTEMS (i dont consider a popcharger/stillen intake as a system...no tubes) are the K&N intakes. some people also run a tube w/ the popcharger or convert their injen/aems into short rams.

I've had a popcharger, and i ran an AEM, in short ram form, for a day. And with both setups i felt a loss at lower rpms daily driving. Since i of course drive it normal more than race it, i prefer stock box.

I'm not saying i didnt feel a gain up top (who can really feel 5hp?) Also the sound of course is amazing and of course cool to mess around with...

But i'm currently running a stock box with a k&n drop in filter and a custom polished intake tube (just for the heck of it / looks)

i felt a loss at lower rpms with my cold air. I converted my injen into a short ram, and the throttle response feels better. hmm?

a. Where do you want the air to come from? Inside or outside the engine bay?
b. Where to you want the filter located?

Thats about it. After 4 months you can now buy a intake with confidence.
