Default SVRT wastegate dumps video clip (in cabin)

Here's what the SVRT wastegate dumps sound like in the cabin w/ the windows down. My buddy took this video today while we were cruising around, it was taken from a camera, but the quality aint bad. Ended up hitting 130 before slowing down due to oncoming traffic. I let off around the corner to give me enough time to make sure the 2 oncoming cars weren't passing each other in my lane as a lot of people do that crap on that 2 lane road which would ended up in a very bad day for me and my buddy lol.

Z has stock exhaust, w/ the dumps and running ~9psi. Dumps are actually a little louder in person, just a little

Yeah they sound mean as hell inside the car, never heard them out side but on the last tune the guys said it was LOUD AS ***. They remind me of a growl like a tazmainian devil or a realy pissed off cougar. Not a his but a realy wicked growl. Hell at night Ive been told under acceleration people can see flames when the dumps open.

Id like to try and get video of this but it would require a car that could keep up under acceleration. Thats hard since Im gonna be in the 600's soon. Real nice built engine, major head work, oversized valves, and cams.

There is kind of a small race to 600whp here on island for some of the Z's. There is already a G more than capable 100mm, Mid sleeves, Aris ED's, and paurter rods. But he does not relay want to turn up the boost. Real nice car too, wide body and every thing.

But any way enough OT. +1 on a great product.

at night it will for sure show flames. did i mention some of the hp gains people have seen?
currently working on a relocation kit (baised on my exhaust) to recirculate the exhaust smoothly and not have to dump it.

I was going to have mine piped/welded back in further down the exhaust. See any reason why that would not work? When you figure out what you are going to do, could you PM me and let me know what you did? I am really looking to do the same.

Thanks!!

all that you need really is one tial flange, then a 45 degree s.s. elbow. it works perfect with my exhaust and wastegate kit. the prob is that there is no way for me to set it up as a pre-welded kit. it would be something where i could just sell the parts to do it (based off my w/g kit), then it would have to be fabbed onto your car. there should be enough flex in the pipes at those angles, but a small flex joint might be a good idea, the welds would need to be of really good quality though.

Nice...similar to the Forged dumps, Id imagine all dumps on a Z would be very similar in sound though...
