Default Got my Y-pipe

I want to say awesome service as usual from Intense...i received the Intense Y-pipe (1 of 2) and wednesday should be receiveing my Tanabe exhaust.

Well aside from UPS being gay about treating packages the Y-pipe arrived in good condition.

For all you exhaust people....i just wanted to get your opinion on how the inside looks....im iffy about it .

here you could get a dremel and smooth it out and get rid of all that slag.

On this, the weld looks to have good penetration, but my welds looked better when I was going through welding school. The weld on the flanges looks a lot better with a little bit of undercut but nothing to be worried about..

when you say dremel the slag by that you are talking about those little chunks where the 2 tubes converge into one right?

I've never seen any differences in y-pipes, some good brands even go bad. The only thing that might be different is the connection between two pipes going into one. Sometimes the angles are so sharp, they create sound pockets that are annoying.

The one you bought looks okay, just install it and enjoy it.
