Default Popcharger review #1,285,761

My Popcharger came today and I installed it right away. Its an easy install and took around an hour. I can't feel any power gains but it sounds amazing. Its throatier throughout all rpm's but at around 4800rpms it souds like its possesed. I'm amazed how how much better it sounds. I'd definently recommend this mod. I got it through Kyle from Import Parts Pro and he's great to work with.

I look at the title quickly and thought I read ProCharger.........then you said you installed it in an hour and could feel much of a difference.....I was thinking WTF is this talking about. Anyway, it is late; my eyes must be tired

Next mod should be the Motordyne 5/16" plenum spacer. This combination will give you a nice gain & deeper, meaner growl . . .

you've just installed an intake, a modification known to add around no noticeable power, maybe it does add WHP, but ur only gonna hear noises from it... no hating on it, that's just my opinion based on experience over the years.... and different cars...

So, theoreticaly, is JWT popcharger + Motordyne spacer combination good for an easy additional 18 horsepower (popcharger: 6.5hp + spacer: 11-13hp) on a non-revup engine, bringing the total to approximately 305+hp?

Anyone actually verified these numbers on a dyno?

This is ricer math. Mods do not produce stackable power. Returns diminish as you stack mods. The 6whp and 11-13hp are the gains going from a completely STOCK motor with only those parts installed.

Yep thats all I was going for. I'm not going to do many mods so I didn't care about hp gains. I just wanted what would sound the best.

My girlfriend got me the Pop Charger for Christmas and I got it yesterday, she gave it to me early because I couldn't wait. I installed it last night, and as stated it is crazy loud! Took me about a ½ hour to 45 minutes to install, and it feels like I lost trq, but feels quicker on the highway. Either way, at WOT it sounds like a different car! My next mod is the Motordyne 5/16" plenum spacer, but I don't think I can do that myself.
