Default Stillen Headers are HERE!!

I just checked the mail and I received the new Stillen catalog... while browsing through it, I flipped to the first few pages and low and behold the Z is featured all over. Most notably they show the new stillen headers w/ pics. (no price mentioned)

"In developing these new headers, STILLEN's R&D staff, under direction of Steve Millen, designed and tested many varieties of tubing diameter and length. The result is a header that produces excellent power across the powerband with best gains at higher rpm. These are ceramic coated mild steel that offer improved flow and pull H.P. and torque out of each cylinder for improved power. These eliminate the main cats and are for use in racing and off road application only."

"Please note: These headers will increase noise levels, particularly when used with aftermarket exhausts. While most do not find them objectionable, if you are noise sensitive, do not purchase these without hearing them first."

Also notable is the supercharger, hood, various exhaust systems, body kit and a new rear wing that I've never seen before.

I checked the stillen website to see if these products were on there with a price but not much luck....just the same stuff thats been there for a while.

Anyone have info on a release date/price??

Replacing the cats alone should yield huge gains, just look at the Amuse Titan graphs. If the headers dont kick some serious butt, then the power gains are most likely just from not having cats, and removing those is a lot cheaper than buying their headers. So, lets see how much power they really make. We'll never see graphs from Stillen, just have to see if someone Dyno's them later.

As usual not much info in specifics from Stealin, they just put an item out and expect their name to sell, and I guess it does.

Nope . . .call them and try to buy them. They were scrapped! Kind of old news, but thats ok! I hope they do develop something to rival Crawford Z Performance headers. The price will be outrageous, no doubt.

We heard so much about this a few weeks back and now we hear nothing. I was also interested in hearing about the high flow cats.

Doug has just finished the second set. This set is model for the production headers. He has corrected for a couple problems with the first set. The high flow cats are back on the car and those will be the next mod dynoed

Yeah, I was interested in Stillen's product too when I first started looking, b/c it was a brand name. As far as their horsepower gains or lack thereof, I'll leave that up to discussion. All I'm going to say is go to the better business bureau and look at their rating. I would never buy anything from those people. Go to:

I hope they plan on trying to raise their rating

Default Stillen

I was at Stillen on Thursday picking up a Cat Back Exhaust for my Z and I can tell you the people there were great. The exhaust was installed yesterday by my local performance muffler shop. The guys at the muffler shop commented on how good the quality, fit & finish of the product was. I asked about the headers and was told they are still a month or two away but probably won't be for street use.

I've drove the car last night and the difference from the stock exhaust was very evident. Having installed the Injen CAI a couple of months I noticed what seemed to be a loss of low end torque. I think I have it back now.
