That isn't true. You are technically supposed to pay the tax for the state where the purchase originates (buyer side), not where it is made. On the other hand, there is generally no way to force companies to collect those taxes unless they have a business location in the state where the item is being shipped. Therefore, technically it is the buyer's responsibility to pay the tax if they aren't charged it (yeah, right).
The reason you aren't paying the tax of the state where the business is located is that whole little "taxation without representation" idea
That, and the temporary moratorium passed by Congress to not allow states to tax out of state buyers.

Anyway, I've never seen an exhaust boost low RPM numbers like that. How is this possible?

The GHL Exhaust system we offer for 995.00 will not be taxed to out of state customers as of today. We will continue to charge tax to Arizona residents only. Our accounting dept held us to charge it until their research was completed. We had paid the shipping costs to defer that extra expense. All individuals who have purchased the system from out of state have been reimbursed the tax amount. We will continue to ship the systems freight pre-paid (lower 48 states) to all our Z internet customers. Thank you all for your input!
