Default GHL Exhaust Pic. Looks really nice.

Had a nice conversation with a gentlemen from GHL who asked me if I could do him a favor and post this. He said they tried a lot of different configurations to get the most power out and this yielded the best results. I like the 18hp gain down low.

do they have the graph for us to see?

18hp down low is pretty incredable from a system that looks so close to stock in setup. keeping the single tube to single muffler...

Did the fellow at GHL say anything about the sound (how much louder in relation to the stock exhaust and how does it compare in tone?)

Default here we go again!

Ok, maybe i am being a butt (I did the same type post just now on brakes!) but I am not buying any performance mod without proof of performance. If this guy wants to sell this mod, he can spend the money to get a dyno to post performance specs. If he is not going to do that, I am not interested. Not being cruel, just honest.

After all, how much is a dyno test? If we just take eveyone's word, we will soon be getting some claims like a super wax that cuts wind resistance and adds 1 hp! Some people have already posted that some products overstate their claims.

I would like to thank Brian and Jeff at GHL motorsports for doing such an awesome job creating the 350Z exhaust system for us. Our owner's expectations and love of high performance sports cars led him once again to GHL for their expertise in exhaust development. The results were not only in increased performance and looks, but also great sound too. Dyno sheet and picyure for everyones input available at "wvn.xohost.com". Since we have had so much response on this product, we are offering it for sale as a kit for 995.00 + tax and we will ship it within the 48 states freight pre-paid. If anyone needs more info of would like to place an order, they can e-mail us at parts@westvalleynissan.com or call 623-934-3444 x213 ask for Joe...Parts Manager, West Valley Nissan. ThankZ, Joe

Default 8 not 18?

Hmm, maybe I am not reading the graph right on the dyno, it looks like about 8 hp differnece, not 18, even at low RPM. am i reading it wrong. thangs for providing the dyno specs. It looks really clean, nice craftmenship.

Default Dyno 4 GHL

Look at the HP traces around 2,000 to 2,500 rpm. Stock starts @ 200hp and the GHL is already @ 218+ hp and holds between 10 and 15 hp higher than the stock out to 4k rpm where they even out and then @ 4,900 rpm the GHL again shows a gain that evens out to approx. 8hp out to 6500 rpm.
This was/is exactly what I needed, more low end power and a dyno sheet to back up my bd after my GHL was installed today. I'm pleased to report it, along with a filter type change has noticably helped my Z out of the hole. Regards, Jim

Your numbers are right but the plot you are looking at is the torque curve not the hp curve. Of course torque down low is more important than hp so its all good. 18 ft-lbs is a ton below 3000 rpm.

But then this is false advertising. To make 18 hp below 5252 rpms, will require anywhere around a 19 to 30 ft-lbs of torque gain depending on how low in the rev range it is!

I really suggest that whoever is marketing this clear this confusion up.

Hi folks,

The dyno was performed at Pro Dyno in Tempe, Az. We are not affiliated with this company. GHL is not 'falsely advertising', only showing the numbers from the dyno. I feel comfortable with present results as past results on Porsche systems have been confirmed by customers. As you all know, not all dyno results will be the same. There are many variables even while using system corrections for weather, ect.
We take great pride in our products as well as our integrity. My brother and I were raised to treat everyone the way we wish to be treated; we raise our children this way. We will only offer products we beleive will benefit the customer.

The law is to collect tax in the state of purchase. Even if it is online. You pay whatever the sales tax is in the state that you purchase the item. He's just being honest.
