If it is installed correctly there should not be any problems. Only one I can think of is if you have a bad gasket. One guy just did a thread and said it was o.e.m fittment.

Spacers shouldn't affect reliability at all

Haven't heard of one person complain about spacers in general and hoping to purchase a spacer myself soon.

The common problem with spacers is the installer getting crazy with a big wrench, and cracking the heads off of bolts.

+1 or not getting a correct seal (bent gasket, oil filler ring getting sandwhich'd...) Once it's installed and runing correctly, no problems what so ever.

I just got the AAM angled plenum spacer installed, and I can hear a rattling. The installer said he put all the spacers on the strut bar that came with the kit. Is there a different strut bar I can put on to make it quit rattling, or even just an extra spacer??

Well I guess you would have to determine what is rattling first. Is it the plenum hitting the strut bar or maybe something else.

To the OP, why not just go with the Motordyne?

I believe it is the plenum hitting the strut bar. It is a pretty tight fit.

Just make sure that the plastic female part of the oil cap doesn't get stuck between the engine and the spacer.

With the spacers, you shouldn't have a problem.
