Default Nismo hardware?

just picked up a nismo exhaust, but it has no hardware or gaskets. I know mynismo.com has the hardware/gasket kit for $70, but does that include all of the necessary bolts? it doesnt look like it. also is there any cheaper alternative? thanks in advance

Missing hardware is a pain in the butt. 2 and 3-bolt gaskets are pretty much standard. You can get them at any auto parts store. I recommend quality nuts, washers and self-locking bolts If your auto parts does not have these, check with a marine store.

If I remember correctly, the stock bolts are captured on the stock system. You can reuse the nuts though.

Another thing I can't remember on the Nismo kit, doesn't the back box go on with an O-ring instead of a gasket (like stock, only bigger)?

Sorry I don't have definitives, I installed this thing years ago.

Yeah I was confused about this too, but I think that's all you need. It's been a while, but I think you either re-use a few bolts or something.

Check my old thread for info: https://my350z.com/forum/intake-exhaust/191809-nismo-exhaust-instructions-sheet.html

I think they might have, but we installed it last year, so I don't remember. If you want, just also get a few extra bolts. As far as the ring gasket, it's basically like the one you currently have. It's used as a gasket between the mid-pipe and the muffler. Unforntunately I'm not sure what size that is, but I believe it is bigger than stock (referring to the o-ring gasket).

Also, this is the step-by-step instruction that we used: http://g-owners.com/article_read.asp?id=39

It was very helpful as well. And since the Nismo is exactly the same as the Fujitsubo, the instructions will be the same.

Let me know if you have any other questions, and I'll try to help you out.
