My $90 Y-Pipe is doing just fine....(it's even shiny too)

I'll do a little write up sometime. I'm glad I didn't spend more.

That is EXACTLY how i feel about my aftermarket/OEM replacement parts. If you can buy something with quality and warrantee. Knowing that you don't have to worry about crappy parts is a big stress relief. I know a couple of hundred bucks seems like a lot at the moment, but think about it, if the crappy Y pipe breaks you are going to have to pay someone (or do it yourself), to take it off and replace a better one on there which of course costs money and wastes time. I suggest either saving your money for something else or getting something that you know is built with quality. Good luck man.

it's not to say that you can't get quality stuff for a low price either. Just that there are lot of cases where people rush to buy what they can afford now because it satisfies their need for instant gratification, only to be let down somewhere down the road. Having wasted literally tons of money on aftermarket "junk" over the years, I learned that dealing with someone I trusted and being a bit patient in my purchasing, has allowed me to keep the stuff I buy, rather than buying and being forced to sell (or fix) the cheaper item when it did not meet my needs or expectations
