Default Noob installation

hey whats up guys. i just bought an Injen CAI. and i know its an easy bolt-on mod, but in what direction do i put the filter? cuz there's the big metal pipe with the logo, attatched to the intake plenum. then there's this big rubber peice that is elbow shaped. do i put the filter to the direction as if i had an intercooler? (facing that direction). or do i angle it towards my left wheel on the driver side. this is probably a horrible description so if u guys need pics, let me know.

i just wanna know everything before i do it cuz no one wants to do it for me cuz its 10 degrees over here hah.

EDIT: i asked the guy at ultimate Z if this was a good intake. at first i asked him about the typhoon and he said hes actually seen loss of hp on a dyno. he says this is prolly the most popular and overall out.

anyone agree? is my car gonna be more laggy? i just took his word for it cuz he's been workin with the Z for many years he says. also owns a few. just let me know on ur guy's opinions

Which way to put the filter? The filter can only be attached one way.

ive seen that pic hah, but theres another peice which is connected to the actual filter. that red tube is the rubber peice. i know which direction that one goes. i just need to know about the peice that connects to the filter. does it face up, or should i face it low so it grabs more cold air?
