The car I installed Strup headers and Strup (unresonated) 2.25" TP's on had a Nismo exhaust. Needless to say, when we were finished it was LOUD and IMO raspy. Under 3K it sounded like ....um not my favorite.... but over 3K the car really sounded like a Ferrari 360, seriously.

My only suggestion to you here is going to be resonated test pipes, of any reputable brand. I think this will make you the happiest in terms of sound and power for your money. But just so you know, I installed the Nismo headers on my car before I did the rest of the exhaust and the car sounded pretty mean, a real deep throaty sound, and the guys in my club said good things about it. Your looking at about 7whp out of the headers and 5-10whp out of the TP's.

Good luck man, let me know what your final choice is and how it turns out for ya!

yes you will want 2.25" test pipes

id say save up and get stillen headers & tests...theyre pretty much designed to go together :/...anybody have any idea how much power youd see from a setup like that?...says 15 hp 20 tq..but those are probably figures from a supercharged engine...how bout for stock revup motor?

I would say at least 10whp from that combo if you got the ceramic coated headers (they improve flow characteristics). I doubt if you would get 20 peak torque on an NA motor, especially a revup. But you will definitely notice a difference
