Default HKS knock off...or TopSpeed Pro N1

So which one?lol
I know the real HKS TD TI costs about 1400
the ebay knock off is 500 shipped or somewhat around there, so whats the difference, and what should i be looking out for if i DO get the HKS knock off?

I have my heart set on the TopSpeed pro n1 but if i can get an HKS for 5-600 then i'll go that route..

anyone can help me out it would be much appreciated..thanks
Will these mods work with the 07.exhaust looks to be the same, the claimed it had a new dual exhaust but its still the same.

I am wondering if anyone with the HKS knockoff had any fitment problems, specifically does it touch the 'W brace under the car as many exhausts do, and does it rattle at all?
I would go with the HKS knockoff if it does not rattle.

Topspeed is a good sound, real deep. I wouldn't recommend using it as a daily driver without the silencers on. Silencers off it rattles the inside of your car and your brains with sound.

well if the silencers come with the topspeed exhaust ill probably end up grabbing the y pipe and exhaust from somewhere...im kind of hesitant about the HKs knock off...too iffy and i dont feel like wasting the money.

and yes its a daily driver.

I didn't have to take of any sheilds when i installed mine . There is a sheild it comes close to, but there is still about a 1/2" gap between and the muffler doesn't hit it even under WOT

+1 for posting these posts.

Also, does anyone know how loud the knockoff sounds? Maybe compared to another exhaust?....and if it keeps the 350z's tone at all?

performance gains?

overall i heard the HKS ko had the same quality yet better than the authentic HKS TI exhaust...the welds and piping/rust were what i was concerned about...heard after a few months the exhaust could pretty much fall right out from under the car.I'd rather go with HKS yet its very expensive as opposed to the Topspeed which is only around 700 with the y pipe.

my bad,i meant the authentic is better of course, just wanted to know what the difference would be with the knock off.
I think im gonna go with the Topspeed. i dont feel like regretting the HKS either by paying 1400 for the authentic or getting ripped off with the knock off

it all depends.id LIKE a true dual, but im picky when it comes to sound.if there's any rasp or rice whatsoever, i won't put up with it.the look doesnt bother me.it IS all under the car. and performance im not worried about seeing how i'll be going the TT F/I eventually

Over seeing all of the exhausts for the z i've come down to these:

TopSpeed Pro N1
HKS hi-power TI True Dual
Greddy Evo 2

I wish i could afford the Amuse TI but i'd like to stay around 600-800 max.other mods amuse me more than exhaust.

I've had the Topspeed Pro N1 on my daily driven Z for about a month now and it's not as bad as many people said it was. I can definately have a conversation without having to yell at my passenger (w/o silencers). And you can't beat the sound.
