Question HKS Dual Hi Power Ti Exhaust people: need your help!

Newbie here. Glad to be amongst other Z lovers. I don't own one yet, but God willing, in a few years I will.

Alright, as for the help I need, here we go: I love the 350Z's stock exhaust note, but you can never have too much of a good thing. I know the Nismo exhaust keeps the stock tone, just deeper and louder - but I'm curious about the HKS Hi Power. It seems to be the exhaust people rave about the most. I know it's LOUD; I've also read that it sounds really good. Is it similar to the Nismo or does it alter the stock tone? Sound quality is more important to me than volume. I'd love to find something that keeps the stock tone, but is much deeper and louder - more so than the Nismo. Thanks for your help guys...

HKS is hands down the best.. I'm selling mine. very low, subtle tone and idle and aggressive when you're on gas.

I was also thinking about getting the HKS. I was wondering if I can also use it, if I go turbo or supercharged? Thanks!

Yes, you can use it still, but a bigger exhaust might be prefferable with FI.

Get a 350Z first. Everything else will work out.

hks is probably the best exhaust you can buy for the Z. check out sound clips on youtube or google video and compare them to different brands and see which one you like the best.

huh? you don't own a Z yet, but you wanna know the difference? Try searching for sound clips. They're all over the internet, and those 2 are the popular ones. Good luck on getting a Z.

HKS is a completely different sound than the stock note. If compared to stock IMO its a loud RASP/ROAR...sounds ugly IMO...i wanted something with a Hollow/Deep sound and purchased whats in my Sig and im glad i did.

i have never heard the HKS in person, but i just got the NISMO and I LOVE IT. it will be quiet when you want it to be and it really opens up @ WOT. not trashing the HKS at all but you can't go wrong with the NISMO
