Default Mass Airflow sensor honey comb...

Just curious, cause i've heard of people doing this. Do our cars have the mesh "honeycomb" on either side of the mass air flow sensor? I've heard of people removing it on other cars, and getting noticable gains. Any input?

Remove the MAF sensor from the intake tube and look at it. Its held in place by 2 screws.
