Thumbs up

I was looking for test pipes a couple of weeks ago and found a set of megan's for 129 out the door. It's sounds pretty good on my car. I don't really have a problem with the rasps. I got it from M1 Motorsports.

Thats not my opinion. My opinion is that "They Just sound incredible" It sounds like a Z but alot stronger than stock. OTHERS have said it sounds like a Ferrari. Some that drive Zs, a couple Evo and STI guys and one Ferrari owner said he was waiting for his friend with a 360 and when I pulled in he heard me and looked up thinkin it was his buddy. I can see where they are coming from cuz in LA, Ferraris are a dime a dozen so I see and hear one atleast once a day but I dont personally think it sounds like a Ferrari, I think it sounds like one BAD AZZ Z. I must say though, I think the DC Sports headers have to do with what they are saying because they tend to add a real howly tone at high RPMs when decelerating, that sounds similar to alot of Ferraris on deceleration. So maybe thats it. Again, it is not my opinion that my Z sounds like a Ferrari, just comments that others have made but I would never scoff at a comparison to a Ferrari, I simply say thank you and smile

quick question on this.....I am on somewhat of a budget. I love my car more than anything and want to fix it up right, but will I notice enough of a difference on test pipes to spend almost $350 instead of $150?

Edit - I noticed the links say 2003-2006 350z.......anyone know if they fit 2007?

There are Pro 1 test pipes on eBay. I'm about to buy a pair, they are so cheap (85 bucks) it's worth the gamble

if you dont mind some noise than most any test pipe will do. But if your worried about rasp and are going resonated spend the extra couple of bucks and go with the ut-r resonated and know you got what you paid for.

No matter what tp you use it'll rasp with your setup. I suggest HFC for no rasp. If thats all that matters. Otherwise, itll be VERY loud and raspy.
