Do u mean test pipes. Over half the people on the forums have em.

 

I think he means no muffler style , basically what a poor ricer would do just to make a car loud.

 

I had the JIC setup and it was to loud for me. Now I have a borla TD and love it!

a d1 car at 5am in the morning when im going to work isnt my ideal scene. But much props i think it just looks odd on a Z to have straight pipes , but lets see some pics.

 

I took off the Y-pipe and midpipe on mine while im in limbo for getting my new exhaust in. I left the muffler in place and secured the driver side so it wouldn't wobble. Everything looks stock but sounds like a beast. I'm getting sick of it though, everything rattles in the car even when accelerating like a little old lady. I can get some sound clips up if people want them, however I wouldn't recommend this as a permanent mod.

Video of my dual 2.5" straight pipes. This was taken right after i put my motor back in with the Greddy twins. Belt was loose as you can hear.

No cat, muffler, or res. Just pipe all the way back with what is soon to be quad stock tips welded to the end come this weekend. I have the Erebuni rear end, so it should look pretty nice.

Videos never do exhaust mods justice, its soo much more louder in person. My exhaust has no resonators and an open straight through type muffler and sound nearly as loud as it would by not having an exhaust at all....

 

I ran an X pipe with one set of resonators and no mufflers. It sounded like sex! Raspy, but a good kind of raspy..very race car ish. Damn i miss that sound. I wish I could have that exhaust for the weekends lol.

 

It's not so bad on a turbo car, but for n/a it would be unbearable.

 

so are we hooking up this weekend brain z33 or what.....
