Default GHL Exhaust Installed (Pics Included)

GHL Exhaust installed today. No installation issues. Much lighter than stock (see other threads regarding this). Lower in tone than stock, significantly louder IMO when pushed. Drone at lower range RPMs - sounds sweet to me. Car was getting attention today for sound as well as looks. Car also feels more responsive at lower RPMs; however, I have only my butt dyno to go by here.

In conclusion, I am very happy with this purchase.

Note: I apologize for quality of some of the pics - but I wanted to get some posted ASAP.

System looks very sweet! How much was the install? Are the tips the same size as stock or larger?

GHL Motorsport are well known for their exhausts on Porsches, Corvettes and i hear they are developing one for the modena!

So very elite and very exclusive. I went to them upon a referral from my friends who own a 550 Maranello.

Here is their web site, www.ghlmotorsports.com.

And I will have streaming videos of the exhaust after the NY Auto Show.

Thanks all. I'll try to post another pic or two this weekend. If I have time, I'll take measurements and compare them to stock. I'll also try to record some sound samples.

Looks great, man. I like that it's similar to stock in appearance (as opposed to the Injen exhaust.... still not sure about that one).

I checked the linked GHL website. Is the exhaust you got for a different make (Porsche, Corvette?) because they don't have any hyperlinks for Nissan specific stuff?

According to Brian at GHL, they made the exhaust for the Z and currently only sell it through West Valley Nissan in Arizona. I just got mine installed yesterday and let me tell you, I look forward to driving the car even more because of the sound difference. It is definately worth the cost and the exhaust performs as promised.

About how much louder than the stock unit would you say it is percentage wise? Would it get annoying on long trips?
